The Havdala Workshop can be altered to suit any age range, from kindergarten to senior citizens.

45 min - 1 hour

Cost:

£350 for half a day (up to 3 groups), £550 for a full day. 

About the workshop:

Participants create traditional Havdalah candles from beeswax and weave together the thin-waxed strings to create a traditional  Havdalah candle. Participants also make a fragrance holder for use in the Havdalah ceremony by pressing bits of clove spices into foam balls. Wine is squeezed from fresh grapes. The Havdalah ceremony is then demonstrated and reasons and customs are discussed.
